If you want the technical blurb, here we go (and it does make interesting reading); all the canvases are printed onto cotton canvas approx 350gsm in weight, then they use several Epson 9800 inkjet printers with Epson k3 ultrachrome inks to give a wide colour gamut as well as good longevity in normal viewing conditions (75+ years are quoted). The canvas is laminated with a satin matt finish that protects the ink from scuffing/scratching as well as making the canvas wipeable/cleanable with a damp cloth. The laminate also includes a UV barrier so that the canvases can be hung confidently in any internal environment. Finally the canvases are stretched over a 3.5cm deep kiln dried wooden frame before being taped at the back to protect walls from staples etc. The wooden frame is produced in a traditional way with corner wedges that can be tapped into the frame to increase the tensioning of the canvas.
